2. Dog-Friendly Beaches: Nothing beats spending a beautiful day at a dog-friendly beach if you live near the ocean. Many beaches have designated areas where dogs are allowed to run free and play in the surf. Allow your dog to play fetch with a floating toy, splash around in the water, or dig in the sand. Don’t forget to pack towels, freshwater, sunscreen for both you and your pet, and perhaps even a portable tent for shelter that is suitable for pets.

Make a course of obstacles out of common objects like hula hoops, cones, or tunnels. For your pet’s enjoyment and to help them cool off, think about getting a kiddie pool. In addition to being enjoyable, backyard activities are practical when you want to escape the heat while still spending time with your pet.
