Dr. Mike Holmberg

I’m Michael Holmberg, DVM and I have practiced veterinary medicine for 15 years. I feel honored that you are trusting me with the care of your furry, feathered and scaled loved ones. I enjoy helping pets, educating their owners on how to provide a better quality of life, and working with my staff to help them grow. In July of 2015 I purchased the Belleview Animal Clinic from Dr. Judy Jasek.

I am from North Dakota and became fascinated with helping animals at a young age and worked at a local zoo in high school. I attended Colorado State University for my undergraduate work and later Iowa State College of Veterinary Medicine for my doctorate and graduated from Veterinary School in 2000.

I have experience with both large and small animals. Fourteen of my practicing years I served as a Partner Doctor for Banfield Pet Hospital of Glendale. I have a reputation for providing quality care that you can trust. I recognize that my clients are members of your family and it is my goal to take the time to understand your needs, concerns, and explain your options so that you can make an educated decision and best suits your family needs.
I have a family of mine own which includes my wonderful wife Melissa, our daughter Charlotte and son Ryan. I also have 2 furry babies, a spitfire calico cat named Avvie after the Colorado Avalanche and a high-energy Brittany Spaniel named Vanellope.

I really love practicing veterinary medicine and am excited about practicing in a holistic way in addition to traditional medicine. I see all kinds of different animals including birds, rodents and reptiles in addition to the traditional dogs and cats. It is my goal to care for your pet in the best way possible. I am sure many of the returning clients will also be pleased to see the familiar faces of the same staff that you have grown to love.

I look forward to being able to grow the practice so that it will better help your pets. Our official grand opening will be Sunday Sept. 20th from 1-4 pm. Please come and take part in the festivities and giveaways. I can’t wait to meet everyone, and look forward to serving you and your pets in the future!
